A Boyhood Dream

When founder and CEO Matthew Blaustein was a boy, he spent much of his free time writing poems, short stories, and articles to show his parents. After receiving their criticism, his father would say the same sentiment over and over:

"You write from the heart. You are all heart."

This organization echoes Matthew's heart and soul, and was developed for the purpose of giving young people the opportunity to display to the world their skills at writing and reporting. He aims for this website to be a showcase of journalistic talent from an age group commonly looked down upon—the average college student.
